Xcode has become more and more bloated. The download package is 11GB now, so it takes forever to download and install. The installation fails repeatedly from the Mac App Store app, and then starts over from the beginning of the download when you try again (ever heard of caching, Apple?). And after all these years, it’s still not even a good IDE.

I was thinking that it would be particularly awesome if someone built Mos Eisley cantina and spaceport in LEGO at the scale of the UCS Millennium Falcon.

Downloaded Nova, Panic’s new text editor. Made it crash after installing some extensions. Reported the issue on their contact page, and got a response within five minutes (on release day, even)! Top flight support, Panic! 👍

Given the recent kerfuffle between Apple and its developer community, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to think that the release of iOS 14 the day after the watchOS/iPad event was planned spitefully.
